The Indiana Chapter had another excellent meeting on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015. The activities began with an enjoyable reception and lunch, during which time the members exchanged travel stories and anecdotes. After a fine lunch, we heard and saw an excellent presentation by Craig Capehart on his extensive scuba diving expeditions throughout the world. He showed outstanding underwater videos which he took. Gregg Schmidt, TCC Silver Member, provided an update on TCC countries and membership information as well as other travel-related news. He also prepared a packet of material for the attendees to take with them. There were 24 in attendance.
The next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2016 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Seasons 52 restaurant. It is located at 8650 Keystone Crossing, which is close to I-465 on the north side of Indianapolis. TCC members and other avid travelers are invited.
We are very pleased to have Steve Fuller as our speaker. He is a lawyer and judge in Kansas City, Missouri, who has enjoyed overseas travel for 40 years. He is a TCC Gold Member, which means he has traveled to more than 200 countries. He is an entertaining speaker who has been featured at TCC meetings around the country, and is also an accomplished marathon runner. Steve often travels alone and, like most solo travelers, has endured a number of unusual experiences. He will recount the pleasure of having guns pointed in his direction in East Timor, Nepal, Tanzania, Suriname and Guatemala. He will also give a short photo commentary on those five countries.
RSVPs should be sent to email@example.com or phoned to Frank at 317-578-3585.
