New Yorkers Enjoy Japanese Journey and a Tri-State Happy Hour

With 28 members in attendance, Kouzan Japanese Restaurant made a fitting backdrop in December for Thomas Anderson to share an account of his recent trip to Japan, where he visited several temple pilgrimage sites, attended a sumo wrestling match, and studied the somber past of Hiroshima.

New York TCC members also gathered at Hurley’s Saloon in New York on Feb. 1 for the first-ever TCC Tri-State Happy Hour. Name tags listing prior and next TCC territory for each traveler kicked off a festive evening. Several members were welcomed to their first TCC event. Happy hours will complement New York Chapter luncheons to provide even more activities for area and visiting TCC members. Japan Presentation Planned for December 2016 Meeting in New York City

The New York TCC chapter had a well-attended meeting on Oct. 8 at the Utsav Indian Restaurant in midtown Manhattan.
