The TCC United Kingdom Chpater held its late autumn meeting on Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London. Our group included U.K. and Irish based members, as well as those from the Czech Republic and the United States.

We had two speakers at our meeting, who were both well received. Our first was Peter Moore, author of six travel books, who works for the travel magazine Wanderlust. The group particularly enjoyed his humorous stories about several epic overland travel journeys.

Our second speaker was Harry Mitsidis, founder of Nomad Mania, formerly known as The Best Travelled. Harry explained the philosophy of the online travel group, how geographies are defined, and how very well travelled members’ claims were validated.
