After a recent slowdown in travel due to the political situation in North Africa and the Middle East, as well as tsunami-affected destinations, we wish to remind you that it is all right to visit Japan. On April 14, the Department of State eased its travel alert to Japan.
Our March luncheon featured slides of Gloria and Charlie McCoy’s trip to Iran. We extend special thanks to them for an outstanding presentation.
The UK TCC Club visits Granada, Spain, September 16-18. Members of the UK Chapter wish to invite worldwide members to attend their meeting. All members, except the UK and Ireland, please send your reservation requests to our TCC head office for handling (tccclub3@gte.net).
The German TCC Club was formed on April 1, with long-time members Dr. Dietrich Deppe, J. Herbert Goebels, Rolf Hildebrand and me in attendance. The first meeting will be September 23-26. See below for more information.
Our September meeting will be in the San Diego area instead of Orange County. We will be at the Grand Hotel Del Mar. Hope to see many of you at our June 11 and September 10 meetings.
