The Kansas City Chapter met at Trezo Mare restaurant on June 22. An informative program on Paris was presented by Mrs. Margaret Clark. In addition, members and guests were offered a drink of a 1954 bottle of Chateau Musar wine from the Bekka Valley in Lebanon.
The travel trivia question of the day was: What is the largest island and smallest island in the world that is governed by two jurisdictions? The winners, Ms. Leslie Becker visiting from St. Loius and Mr. Mike Wood of Kansas City split a bottle of red wine from Ibiza. (The answer to the question is: New Guinea, the largest island, and St. Martin/St. Maarten, the smallest island).
The next two meetings are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 28, and Friday, Dec. 7, at 11:30am at the same restaurant.
