TCC Chairman Klaus Billep was the guest speaker at the Oct. 13 luncheon meeting. The event was hosted by Cecilia and Robert Petrik at their lakeside residence in Davie. During the social hour outside, overlooking the lake, members enjoyed a lunch, prepared by Cecilia, and drinks. The presentation by Klaus, which followed, covered the TCC history, and was followed by a question-and-answer period. Afterwards, members had 60 seconds each to tell about their recent travels and/or near future destination. The meeting adjourned at 6pm.
Next meeting: The 2012 holiday party will be on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the home of Barbara Stein in Hollywood, Florida. All members and guests are requested to bring a wrapped travel souvenir to participate in a gift exchange, and to bring finger foods and libations to share.
