The Washington, D.C. Chapter held a meeting on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Wildfire restaurant at Tyson’s Corner in McLean, Virginia. Members had a lively discussion about planned legal travel to Cuba as well as recent journeys to Mongolia, Siberia, Norway and the London Olympics. Special kudos to Boo Law who celebrated her 90th birthday this month, and who has more energy than people half her age, as well as to Barbara and Peter Wood, who traveled from North Carolina for the meeting.
The next meeting with be in February and will be held will be held on April 6, 2013, at noon. The venue will again be Wildfire Restaurant, 1714 International Drive in McLean. Please email Area Coordinator Jeff Houle at tccwdc@gmail.com if you plan to attend.
