The TCC United Kingdom Chapter held its spring 2013 meeting at the Waldorf Hilton in London on Sunday, March 10. Our small group included U.K,- based members as well as David Langan , who travelled over from Dublin.

Our guest of honour was Mr. Graham Hughes. Mr Hughes has recently completed travel to all sovereign countries as recognised by the United Nations, without flying. He is working with Guinness World Records for formal recognition of his achievement. Although Graham’s excellent talk included anecdotes from dodgy boats to even dodgier prisons, logistical nightmares and a changing political landscape, he was able to share many more experiences reflecting the kindness of strangers, often when it was least expected.

Our next meeting will be held in September. A follow-up email will be sent out to all members and attendees soon with further details.
