Dear Members and Friends,
I am pleased to invite you to attend the next meeting of the TCC ‘s New York Chapter on Saturday, Oct. 26, at noon.
Chris Hudson, former club president and current board member, will give a presentation on a five-week trip from Santiago, Chile, across the Pacific – a quarter of the way around the planet – to Fiji. The idea was to visit nine distinct TCC destinations and a total of 28 Pacific islands, many of them inaccessible other than by boat (and some of them inaccessible even by boat!). The Tuamotus, the Society Islands, the Cook Islands, Wallis and Futuna, Levuka and Savusavu.
Joe Rapaport arranged for us to meet at La Pulperia, 371 West 46th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. Metered parking and garages are nearby. The cost is $35 including tax and tip. Please bring the exact amount in cash to the restaurant.
