The TCC International meeting in Munich on Sept. 7 was also the annual gathering of the German chapter, which includes Austria and Switzerland.

The all-day meeting was held at the Hotel Eden Wolff and was called to order by TCC Chairman Klaus Billep, with German Area Coordinator J. Herbert Goebels presiding. Also attending were former TCC President Kevin Hughes and Audrey Walsworth from the U.S., and Christiane Jauch from France.

Billep discussed in detail the history of TCC and the rules for including countries and territories on the Approved List. Goebels has a copy of each country list since he joined TCC in 1972. Following the luncheon, Armin Schreiner presented a slide show of his visit to Antarctica in 2009.

The next International meeting will be held in Frankfurt on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, which will commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Travelers’ Century Club.

Enjoying Munich’s Hofbrauhaus after the meeting are German Area Coordinator J. Herbert Goebels, Audrey Walsworth from Marceline, MO, and Christiane Jauch from Paris.
