I am pleased to invite you to attend the next meeting of the New York area’s Travelers’ Century Club on Saturday, Jan. 11.
Member Paul Couniotakis will give a presentation on a trip to parts of East, Central and West Africa. Countries visited included Rwanda, Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon and Nigeria.
Joe Rapaport found our complementary restaurant: Barbès, located at 19-21 East 36th Street between Fifth and Madison. The cost is $40 including tax and tip and is to be paid in cash at the restaurant … exact amount please. Parking is available free on Park Avenue and for a fee at nearby garages.
Have a firm reservation to me by Sunday, Jan. 5. As I will be traveling to the Galapagos and Amazon in Ecuador in December, it is best to respond by postal service.
