At our TCC Eastern Canada holiday social on Dec. 7, we welcomed new member Carol Stevenson and provisional members Barb and Doug Storey. Thanks to Jane Shaver for organizing an excellent brunch for the chapter.
Also visiting with us was David Paterson, a reporter for the Mississauga News, who took pictures, video interviews with our membership, and wrote a great story about the Travelers’ Century Club. See his report here »
We enjoyed an “around-the-room and around-the-world” session with all members getting the chance to introduce and present a picture of a favorite experience/trip/destination of theirs. A fascinating dialogue ensued while special pictures of Prague, the Galapagos, the Trans-Siberian Railway, Victoria Falls, Iceland, India and the Amazon were shared.
2014 Eastern Canada Chapter meetings are as follows:
