Due to overwhelming responses from TCC members advising that the previously announced April date is problematic, the Travelers’ Century Club United Kingdom Chapter will now be holding our next meeting on Sunday, June 15, 2014, from noon to approximately 4 p.m. in the private meeting room upstairs at:

The nearest tube station is South Kensington on the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. The pub is less than a five-minute walk from the station.
We will include a two-course meal, beer, wine and soft drinks, which we will ask to be served at about 1 p.m. A cash bar will be available for spirits. Please set your expectations that this will be a very informal environment and that the food is pub grub rather than haute cuisine.
As this is a traditional pub setting and your TCC Area Coordinator is a Sometime-Pub Quiz Master, we will also be holding a private, themed pub quiz for our members and guests immediately after the meal: “Around the World in 80 Questions.”
Prizes will be given to the winning team. Please RSVP no later than Friday, Jan. 31, so I can give the pub an estimate of how many will attend. Members are encouraged to invite guests if they wish. This is a perfect opportunity to invite others who might be interested in learning more about the TCC. There are no restrictions as to how well traveled your guests may be. The more, the merrier!
If attending, please ensure a cheque for £35.00 per person is sent to my Windsor address no later than Friday, Feb. 28. Alternatively, I am happy to provide details for the TCC UK bank account.
