TCC in the News – Travelers' Century Club

The Mississauga News ran a very interesting story resulting from the reporter’s attendance at the Toronto TCC meeting in December 2013 at the home of Area Coordinator Rick Shaver and his wife, Jane. Steve and several members who attended were interviewed. “For those not so well travelled, sitting in on a TCC meeting is a slightly disconcerting experience,” the reporter states. “Tales of far-flung destinations are bandied about like anecdotes from a day at the mall. New Zealand member David Horne sent us a full-page article, with photos, from the Otago Daily Times that featured his oft-time fellow traveler and friend Alistair McMurran. “Around the World in 36 Years” is the title of the article in which McMurran relates some of his many adventures. He has visited 200 TCC countries/territories; Horne has been to 264. Read the article online »
