The 18th annual meeting of the Chicago-area TCC chapter was held on April 5 at the home of Tom and Ellen Flannigan.
The next meeting will be on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, from noon to 2 p.m. at the home of Kurt Shafer in Chatsworth, Illinois, an 80-minute drive south of Chicago. Kurt is one of the most widely traveled people in world history and a great storyteller. Kurt welcomes any other club members who may be in the area. His house is a virtual museum of travel; one will not be disappointed. The tentative date for the meeting after that will be Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m., again at Tom and Ellen’s home in Winnetka, just north of Chicago.
