Hello World Travelers,
Here is a reminder about our next TCC Eastern Canada Meeting, featuring our “Members’ Holiday Show & Tell.”
Hard to believe that another busy year of travel is coming to a close with our third TCC Eastern Canada meeting of the year scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, at noon at The Hive office (544 King St. West in Toronto).
As usual, we will arrange for a light lunch with a nominal charge. Please RSVP your attendance to me in the immediate future so we can plan refreshments accordingly.
This meeting is shaping up to be one of our most interesting yet. Members are asked to do a little homework relating to travel that you have done and travel they dream of doing in the future.
Here is the “show” part: Please bring a current or expired passport with your most interesting or coveted stamp and/or a visa from a country you have visited. As we share these, all are asked provide the group with a little description of why you chose it.
A prize will be given to the person whose stamp or visa is deemed by the group to be the winner (a coveted 60th anniversary TCC lapel pin).
Here is the “tell” part: As we look to 2015 and beyond and future travel destinations for us all, we’ll go around the room and solicit each member to identify their “dream” trip or destination with a little description of why you chose it.
We will cover further “tell” elements of our agenda with a report on the TCC 60th anniversary meetings and cruise, along with an update on recent progress made on TCC social media, which has been spearheaded by our own Tim Skeet, the TCC Western Canada Coordinator. We will also decide on our 2015 meeting dates.
I look forward to seeing everyone on December 6!
Warm regards,
—Rick Shaver, Area Coordinator
