Hello World Travelers,
I think that all who attended our April 2015 Eastern Canada TCC meeting at The Hive will agree that our esteemed guest speaker Andrew White, President of Quark Adventures, treated us to a wonderful account of his visits to the North and South Poles.
His aptly named presentation, “Bipolar Travel North & South,” was accompanied by stunning video and pictures of incredible wildlife, Russian transport planes and ice breakers, unmatched polar scenery and eclectic polar adventurers of all kinds!
Andrew’s personal accounts brought the remote destinations – like Cunningham Inlet and Somerset Island in the High Canadian Arctic, as well as Union Glacier and the actual South Pole in Antarctica – come to life!

While many Canadian TCC members know about the Smith family – TCC members Derek, Joanne, Nathaniel and provisional member Dillon – we have a new “family affair” with Colin Stephenson recently hitting the 100 country mark, joining his mother Carol! A warm welcome and congrats to Colin, who attended his first meeting with us.
Many thanks also to Lynne Lim who arranged a wonderful Indian food lunch for us.
- Next 2015 meetings:
Sept. 12
Dec. 5
Warm regards and happy traveling.
