Tim Skeet, Coordinator for Western Canada, becomes the first international TCC board member. He initiated the Western Canada chapter in Calgary, where he is based, in the summer of 2013. Meetings are also held in Vancouver and he coordinates with the Eastern Canada chapter headed by Rick Shaver. He and TCC Treasurer JoAnn Schwartz launched the TCC Facebook page earlier this year.
Tim and his wife, Lana, who were married in 1998, discovered TCC in 2003, and worked toward reaching the 100 mark, joining the organization in 2011. They are now working toward their next TCC country milestone, having just returned from a three-week trip through Asia, which included scuba diving in Timor Leste. Tim is one of TCC’s most enthusiastic and energetic new members.
