Over the last month we have received multiple reports of fraudulent activity by a past member of the Travelers’ Century Club in the form of travel offers for which monies were collected, followed by trip cancellations with no refunds offered. The total amount of the fraud is estimated at greater than $700,000, and some TCC members were impacted.
We have received concerns this individual may be operating under an alternate name and/or as a travel agency and has made unauthorized use of the club directory to mail offers to members that could also be of a fraudulent nature. Use of the club directory for any commercial purpose is strictly prohibited, and the Travelers’ Century Club does not endorse or enter into partnerships with any travel provider. Anyone representing themselves as such is doing so fraudulently.
Please be diligent and skeptical before dealing with any new person or unfamiliar agency.
