Hello World Travelers,
Neil Mackay, the featured speaker at our Dec. 9 meeting, provided us with a wonderfully crafted perspective on his recent travels to Iran and Iraq (Kurdistan). Touching on the incredible cultural diversity, rich history and the expansive geographies of the region, Neal’s presentation was wonderful and informative.
Neil also conducted an interactive “where in the world” visual quiz with 30 interesting photos that needed identification. Colin Stephenson, Heather Watts and Rick Shaver took home prizes for correctly ID-ing photos.
Heather Watts was warmly welcomed to her first TCC meeting with an impressive country resume, having visited over 180 United Nations countries and over 200 TCC countries and territories.
We also had a chance to review the Forum section of the TCC Web site to familiarize members with the useful functions and information sources within.
