Originally a Canadian native, I moved to Seattle to marry my husband too many years ago to count!! I have fulfilled my fantasy of world travel starting when our two daughters grew up. We have up to now visited 117 countries but are not yet finished with our travels. Our most recent trip (and the second time to that country) was circumnavigating Australia including Tasmania and Papua New Guinea on a 28-day cruise.
Originally our travels started by visiting every single country in Europe, as well as China, Thailand, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos and Australia on land tours. Now we prefer cruising as opposed to the rigors of bus tours and constant moving.
About seven years ago we heard of the Travelers’ Century Club, and after researching it on line, I knew I was eligible and joined three years ago. After reading the Centurian and seeing all the different chapters around the country, I realized there wasn’t one in Washington State. It is so enjoyable to meet others with like interests and to share travel experiences.
