The Kansas City TCC Chapter met on Sept. 27. An excellent program was given by Jackie Zimmerman, the curator of the Safari Museum in Chanute, Kansas. This museum chronicles the adventures and photography of Martin and Ossa Johnson, two early 20th-century explorers who circled the globe several times visiting primitive cultures.
The trivia question was, “How many satellites are circling the Earth in September 2019?” The answer is 1,000.
The next meeting will be a Christmas party on Friday evening, Dec. 6. Contact Steve Fuller at Sfuller712@gmail.com for details.
