Nothing can hold down travelers who want to talk about their trips. TCC Zoom meetings popped up around the country. Even places without a formal chapter such as Jacksonville, Florida, Indiana, and Arizona gathered in front of their screens, and if there’s one advantage to these meetings, members who live too far away from a chapter can finally join in the fun.
The Pacific Northwest Chapter invited members from Western Canada to chat about staying at home, “something tireless travelers are not used to!”
Over 20 participants in West Florida (Sarasota) showed artwork, souvenirs and collections (especially items too big to bring to a meeting), including a piece of the Berlin Wall, a headdress from Myanmar, and an Asmat costume from Irian Jaya.
Hosted by TCC President Tim Skeet, 29 members from ten Midwest states introduced themselves and discussed the TCC.
In Atlanta, Georgia, we used the meeting as a chance to catch up, talk about future travel plans. We are looking forward to traveling again soon!
