Dear Friends,
The final program for our Nuremberg meeting is now ready! You may almost pack your travel cases ;-))))

Although the meeting is surely affected by the virus situation, and some members unfortunately had to cancel their trip — some are still struggling with Bavarian regulations — we will have a little over 20 participants and, at least I think so, an attractive itinerary with interesting presentations and especially nice social venues.
There are some restrictions even when moving about in the hotel (e.g. wearing face masks and gloves when going to the food buffet), and their bar (if open at all) is not suitable for larger groups. The hotel, frankly speaking, is a simple standard hotel, not quite as convenient as the big places we had in Bremen, Leipzig, or Stuttgart. Therefore, I decided to move the get-together meeting on Friday to the oldest Bratwurst place in Nuremberg, Zum gulden Stern, which was founded in 1419! This place has good beer and — of course — excellent typical Nuremberg Bratwursts. It is not very far to walk there from the InterCity Hotel (15 – 20 minutes), but there is also a multi-story car park close by (Jacobsplatz Parking). We have a table outside but can move inside should the weather turn against us. Conveniently, the place closes at 10 p.m., so we are all fit and able in the next morning :)))))
I cannot guarantee for Sunday morning, though, since our (also very authentic) Saturday venue, Alte Küch’n und Im Keller, opens till late…
So, looking forward to seeing you all (again)!
Kindest regards,
—Anja and Armin Schreiner
