The New York TCC Chapter will meet at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, via Zoom. Our speaker will be JoAnn Schwartz, who will recount her June 2021 trip across the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The goal of the trip was to cross the country, which is roughly the size of Western Europe, by car from Kinshasa to Bukavu. There are no known examples of travelers who have taken this routing. Accompanying JoAnn were distinguished TCC members Don Parish and Charles Veley, who have both completed the entire TCC list of countries and territories.
Those of you who have attended previous New York Chapter Zoom meetings will recognize JoAnn as she is our technical expert. She also is past club president, board member, and co chair of the Northern California Chapter.
