On Sunday, Sept. 29, Pennsylvania TCC Chapter members were treated to Dr. Christopher Woods, director of the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. He is a rare individual who can read and speak a few words of the dead language of Babylonian. Hearing about the exciting expansion of the Egyptian galleries at the UPenn Museum was fascinating. The museum is considered one of the foremost collections of archaeological and anthropological artifacts in the world, so the expansion of the galleries is a very significant development.
