At the Southwest Florida (Sarasota) TCC Chapter’s latest meeting, Alan Burdick shared highlights from his nature-focused journey through Nicaragua and El Salvador. His trip featured incredible bird-watching, but not without challenges — he first had to convince Managua airport customs not to confiscate his binoculars and later endured a rough water crossing.
The next Southwest Florida Chapter meeting is scheduled for Monday April 28, at noon. It will be a special meeting with a non-member speaker: Niloofar Rahmani, author of My Life as Afghanistan’s First Female Pilot.
