The Sun Tavern, Covent Garden, was the popular new venue for the 36 members and guests of the United Kingdom and Ireland Chapter.
First-time attendees included Fraser McIntyre, Dale Cartie and guest, Evelien Haels, Michelle Cemm and Mark Fowler, Ruth Stryker and Graham Warman, Cen Lewis and Peter Oswaldt. Visiting attendees included Oceania chapter coordinator Robyn Antill, Corin Doregger from Austria, and Olivia Carter Pokras and her guest from the USA.
The chapter recognized Andre Silveira Mafra Silva for reaching gold (200) status, and Ges Roulstone and Iain Grist, both of whom reached silver (150) status. Andre Silveira presented on his year-long sabbatical, travelling through the Pacific.
Our new pub venue was broken in by a quiz — this time with Andre as quizmaster. The winners were team Sunshine with members Chris Kohut, Sherry Bretcher, Mike Kendall, Ges Roulstone and Roberta Roulstone.
