The “Avenue of the Baobabs,” located in western Madagascar, features 20 of these endemic, statuesque beauties. As a child, I loved the story of “The Little Prince,” which references the baobabs as symbols of incredible strength with the potential to “dangerously take over.” As I stood there watching the sun fall upon the baobabs, it was a captivating and reflective moment as I smiled at the trees’ enchanting silhouettes, reminiscing about the story from my childhood. To this day, I still recall this as my most unforgettable and profound sunset.

Beirut, Lebanon, is home to the Pigeon Rocks formation, which was created in the prehistoric era by a geological movement. Also called the Raouché Rocks, the 60-meter-high rocks are irresistible targets for photographers. Here, the setting sun and the circular water ripples from a boat navigating the rocks created this sunset scene.

A shy and luminous full moon peeks through the lacy arms of an acacia tree, spilling silver light across the quiet Zimbabwean plain. A herd of zebras grazes beneath it, their striped coats glowing like brushstrokes in the moon-drenched grass.
