The Kansas City TCC Chapter met at Trezo Mare Restaurant on March 29. The program entailed guests to recount unusual or frightening travel experiences. Henna Fuller prepared a video capsule of her and Steve’s six-country cruise vacation with marathon races on each island. Trivia questions: 1) What do the country names of Cameroon, Anguilla and Singapore have in common? 2) Where on Earth can you stand and be in four countries simultaneously? Bob Compton guessed correctly. 1) Named for animals. Cameroon: “prawns” in Portuguese, Anguilla: “eel” in Italian and Singapore is “Lion City” in Sanskrit. 2) Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia.
