Meet New England Co-Coordinator Philippe Izedian
Since I was young, I read blog posts and stories from travel legends such as Lee Abbamonte, Don Parrish and Charles Veley — all of whom spoke about the TCC. As soon as I qualified for provisional membership in early 2021, I submitted an application, joined local meetings, and qualified for full membership in 2023.
I grew up doing road trips to Canada and in Europe, mainly visiting family along the way. As I’ve grown older, I’ve come to enjoy more difficult-to-reach destinations, including South Ossetia, Yemen, and DPRK. For me, the pleasure of being in the TCC is hearing stories of travelers who have been to far more places and more remote destinations than I have and collaborating with others to reach the ends of the Earth.
When Dave Santulli, long-time coordinator of the New England chapter, asked me to work with him to arrange the chapter meetings, I certainly didn’t think I was qualified, but I accepted. It is an honor to serve alongside him and bring travelers together in New England.
