The October 6 meeting of the Northeast Florida/Southeast Georgia TCC Chapter featured a presentation focused on Vietnam and other countries and territories in Southeast Asia that could be visited in conjunction with the TCC International Conference in Hanoi on May 3 – 7, 2026. There are many interesting options that are only a short plane ride away from Hanoi, and of course the rest of Vietnam is also rich in treasures to experience.
The group also talked at length about recent and upcoming destinations, such as traveling in Chile (including Patagonia), a cruise circumnavigating Africa, a cruise across the south Atlantic from Puerto Williams, Chile, to Capetown, South Africa (including the hard-to-reach Tristan da Cunha and other islands), as well as other travel in various areas of Europe and the Caribbean.
Our chapter’s next meeting to kick off the new year is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 2, in Jacksonville. There will be a presentation by Olivia Carter-Pokras visiting from Maryland, and another by chapter members Paul Cosgrave and Robin Williams. Stay tuned for more details about each of their presentations. Susan and Russ Rosenberry will also give a summary of the Autumn Weekend in Belfast meeting organized by the United Kingdom and Ireland Chapter that they will have attended.
