Virtual Explorations Leadership Update
The board of directors expresses sincere appreciation to Charles Merkel for his creation of Virtual Explorations and his tireless efforts poured into building a program born out of COVID-19, when members could only dream and plan future travel possibilities.
Following Charles’ retirement, programs have continued seamlessly under Sherri Donovan and Cathy Shelton. We are pleased to announce that Sherri and Cathy’s efforts have led to them being officially named as co-chairs of the Virtual Explorations Committee. In this capacity, they will continue to oversee program operations — including speaker coordination, promotional materials, and event management — while also expanding the scope of Virtual Explorations to attract broader member interest.
Sherri and Cathy’s leadership will guide the program’s continued growth, encouraging a diverse range of topics and enhanced member participation. Congratulations, Cathy and Sherri!
