Hello World Travelers,
I am very excited to announce that we will be hosting our first TCC Canada Chapter “in-person/live” meeting in Toronto on Saturday, June 11, at noon EST!
After eight virtual Zoom meetings in 2020-’21, we will now have the opportunity to share a nice lunch as well as share our collective passions for travel in the same room. We will also make provision for those who are unable to travel to Toronto or would prefer to join via a Zoom option as well.

Happy to also announce that we have a new venue for our meetings: A big bright airy new Hive office is now fully operational at 950 Dupont St., Suite 300 (Between Davenport and Dovercourt). Lots of street parking is available — especially on a Saturday. Google Maps link »

“Couchsurfing Around the World”
In June 2004, travel changed for many backpackers. CouchSurfing, a hospitality exchange service was launched, connecting travelers to “hosts” in nearly every country. From a bathroom-less apartment in France, to getting locked in a German apartment — from a “swag” in the Aussie desert to a mansion in the suburbs of Cairns — and mud hut in Haiti, to a surfer’s paradise in Cape Town, it became clear early on that “free” was never “free” and that was exactly the point.
For those of you going to Malta for the Global TCC meeting in May, see you there.
For everyone else, I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for an exciting new year for TCC Canada as we convene again in the name of “World travel…The passport to peace through understanding.”
