Dear Travelers’ Century Club Members,
The TCC UK Chapter held our first in person meeting in 2022 on Sunday, 24th April. Thirteen members joined us as we returned to Doggett’s Coat and Badge. We welcomed first time attendees and members who have joined us for many events over the years. Also in attendance was past President and board member Pam Barrus, and Oceania Chapter Coordinator Robyn Antill.
As travel from the UK starts to be easier, we discussed what where we have been for the past two years and what our plans are moving forward. Several members discussed our travels within the UK and how much we appreciated our own island. Islands were a key theme of our pub quiz, which was won by “Team 1” as its true name could be lost in translation. The prize was signed copies of Tony Wheeler’s book Islands of Australia.
The TCC UK Chapter will meet again in the autumn, with the date and venue announced mid-summer. We hope to see many of you there.
