Dear TCC members and guests,
What a wonderful sunny day at Jonabell farms on Sept. 24. The horses were beautiful, Dr. Gifford imparted information about working and traveling in the United Arab Emirates, Mrs. Shepherd gave us insight into the disaster in Eastern Kentucky, and Gerry Duffy‘s lunch and presentation about the equine industry and its global reach made for a very exciting and action-packed day. We raised $1,400+ for the staff members of Floyd County schools who lost everything and are living in trailers or at the local state park.
We encourage everyone to join us on Jan. 7, 2023, in Cincinnati for another action-packed TCC meeting. Rick Bryan has put together a wonderful program and lunch at The National Exemplar in the Mariemont Inn from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The lunch will be a hot buffet with meat and a non-meat dish for $25. Mariemont is a quaint 15-minute drive into Cincinnati. If you would like to stay overnight; he suggests the Mariemont Inn, or there are many national brands of hotels near the Mariemont Inn.
Our speaker will be one of our members, Katelyn Jarvis! She will be speaking about her recent volunteer work trip as she traveled overland in West Africa. She is a thirty year old who has the goal of visiting every country in the world while doing as much good as possible through her nonprofit, Peace Stamps.
If you find you are traveling and not able to attend the meeting, we still want to hear from you as to where you are and your travel experiences.
Sincerely,
Bernie and Eileen Strenecky
