Save the Dates for New York Chapter 2023 events:
- Jan. 28 – Meet-up at the New York Travel & Adventure Show at Javits Convention Center!
- 10 am meet-up time at Javits Center (exact time/location TBD).
- Spend the day listening to an exciting line-up of speakers from three stages and roaming the booths of cruise lines, tourism bureaus, and tour operators large and small.
- Buy your own entrance ticket at https://travelshows.com/shows/new-york and coordinate with other members throughout the day via a WhatsApp chat. We field-tested the concept last year and it worked great!
- Show closes at 5 p.m. and we depart for drinks/dinner (location TBD).

- March 25 – From Antarctica 101 to the South Pole by Cathy Shelton, Bill Datema, and Sherri Donovan. Khadijah Musa opens with brief remarks on traveling with the UN through the Global South. Lunch venue TBD.
- April 22 – The Caucasus by Ed Hotchkiss from his recent trip. Lunch venue TBD.
- June 3 – How to Navigate the Toughest Places to Tour by Ihab Zaki, President of Spiekerman Travel.
- Sept. 10 – Pakistan by Jane Eagleson, based on seven trips. Lunch venue TBD.
