Please save the date: Saturday July 29, for “A Day on San Juan Island” for TCC members and your partner. As worldwide explorers, let’s explore a beautiful location a little closer to home.
Come and explore Friday Harbor and San Juan Island through the eyes of TCC member and local resident Joanruth Baumann. We will be met at the ferry terminal and transported in private cars around to see the island’s highlights, have lunch either at Joanruth’s house or have a picnic lunch (depending on the weather) , will enjoy more sites, and be returned to the ferry terminal in the afternoon.
You are welcome to extend you stay before or after with your own independent overnight arrangements.
What: In Anacortes, Park and Walk on the 9:05 a.m. Friday Harbor ferry arriving at 10.10 a.m . Take the 3.40 or 6.30 p.m. ferry back to Anacortes.
Joanruth can accommodate about 15 people in vehicles and her home. She asks that we make a modest contribution towards lunch, $5 to $10 pp, TBD.
If you are interested, let me know now., by email. I will send out a reminder a couple of weeks before the event to finalize numbers. In the case that we have more than 15 interested people, we will take the first responses. And if you are not sure, let me know you are “thinking” about it, and we will finalize as we get closer.
