The TCC Kansas City Chapter met on March 27 at Trezo Mare Restaurant. Approximately 41 members and guests were entertained by University of Missouri Kansas City student Ida Ayalew. She presented a colorful program on Morocco.
The trivia question involved a poll conducted by HSBC Bank. It asked which countries were most desirable to live in in 2014, based on lifestyle and income. The first two countries were Switzerland and Singapore. Which country was third? Not one member or guest named the correct answer of China.
An alternate trivia question was the following: Which countries have the most fish pulled from their waters annually?
The leading country is China. What country is #2? Veteran traveler Steve Glorioso correctly guessed Indonesia.
The remaining 2015 meetings are set for June 26, Sept. 25 and Dec. 4 at Trezo Mare. All meetings will take place on Fridays beginning at 11:30 a.m.
