Atlanta blends history, culture, and Southern charm into a vibrant getaway. Ditch the car and utilize MARTA, the city’s efficient transit system, starting at the airport station. However, for those who prefer, rideshare options Uber and Lyft are available 24 hours a day.

Check into a hotel near a MARTA stop. Consider the Westin Peachtree Plaza (Peachtree Center), the Four Seasons Atlanta (Midtown), or the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta (Buckhead).

Dive into history at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. Then, head to Centennial Olympic Park and choose your adventure: the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, or the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame.

Enjoy a classic Southern dinner at Mary Mac’s Tea Room (established in 1945), folowed by sunset cocktails with breathtaking views at the Sundial Restaurant.

Start the next day with a stroll or bike ride on the Atlanta BeltLine, stopping at Ponce City Market. Explore Piedmont Park, then delve into the city’s past at the Atlanta History Center.

Indulge in dinner at South City Kitchen. End the night with a Buckhead bar hop or a show at the historic Fox Theatre.

Savor a Southern brunch at Buttermilk Kitchen before heading back to the airport via MARTA.

Pro tip: Purchase a MARTA Breeze card for easy travel and check for rider alerts at itsmarta.com.
