Our first meeting of 2025 is fast approaching: Saturday, April 26, at noon at the Hive offices – 950 Dupont St. Suite 300 in downtown Toronto.
Again, for those members who reside outside the southern Ontario region, we will be offering a virtual meeting option with a Zoom call scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. start.
I look forward to receiving your RSVPs. Please let me know if you would like to attend in person or via Zoom. I will send out a link for the meeting as we get closer to the day.
As many of you know, we have a very special 2025 featured speaker for our April 26 meeting.
We are honoured to have Mr. Bruce Poon Tip, entrepreneur, leader, philanthropist and founder of G Adventures. Bruce is also a worthy recipient of the Order of Canada (Officer).
Bruce started G Adventures 35 years ago and built it into the world’s largest small group adventure travel company with 28 offices worldwide, hosting over 200,000 travelers per year and offering more than 750 tours and travel to more than 100 countries on seven continents.
Many fortunate Travelers Century Club members have traveled with G Adventures and know they are famous for “Delivering transformative experiences to travelers around the world, while helping to change the lives of local people in the destinations they visit.”
Bruce will touch on several interesting and current travel topics such as how the landscape of travel has changed since COVID, including how things have rebooted for many travelers to seek out meaningful and purposeful travel. Bruce will also tell us about the epic documentary film he produced called The Last Tourist and will share some of his most memorable travel experiences over the years.

A few event updates for you:
- The next 2025 TCC Canada meeting has moved to Sept. 20. Our Nov. 29 meeting date remains the same.
- The next Global TCC meeting will take place May 3-7, 2026, in Hanoi.
- UK and Ireland Chapter meeting in Belfast Oct 24-26, 2025
- New York City Regional meet up July 10-13, 2025
