- Monday June 2 — Happy hour meet-up at at Old Stove Brewing at Pike Market in Seattle.
- Sunday July 27 — Lunch in Lacey (in the Olympia area) featuring a presentation on member Teresa Wilkins‘ trip to the Marquesas.
- Sunday Dec. 7 — Holiday get-together in downtown Seattle at Cindy Shurtleff‘s condominium.

Saturday, April 26, 9;30 a.m.
The Canada TCC Chapter is including us in their Zoom meeting, beginning at 9.30 a.m. PDT, to hear Bruce Poon Tip, the founder of G Adventures. Bruce will touch on several interesting and current travel topics such as how the landscape of travel has changed since COVID. Including how things have rebooted for many travelers to seek out meaningful and purposeful travel. Bruce will also tell us about the epic documentary film he produced called The Last Tourist and will share some of his most memorable travel experiences over the years.
An RSVP is needed to receive the Zoom link to this meeting. Send a note to Canada Chapter Coordinator Rick Shaver at RShaver@thehiveinc.com. Rick will send you log in information before the meeting.
Monday June 2, 5 to 6.30 p.m.
Meet-up at Old Stove Brewing Co. in Pike Market (1901 Western Ave. in downtown Seattle). Look for us at one of the tables, outside if the weather is nice, inside if not. No host. Food and drink available to purchase. Call me, Cindy, at (206) 390.4431 if you need help finding us.
Sunday July 27, 11.30 a.m. to around 2 p.m.
Lunch and socializing in the Olympia area, followed by a meeting and presentation on the Marquesas by Teresa Wilkins. RSVP needed by July 1. I will send a reminder around mid-June and ask for RSVPs.
We will meet at 11.30 at the Restaurant of Panorama Senior Living Community in Lacey (no host, separate checks), then walk to Teresa Wilkin’s home nearby for a short meeting and the presentation, followed by cookies and coffee.
For those interested in following our meeting with a tour of the Washington State Capitol, the last tour of the legislative building begins at 2.30 p.m. on Sundays, and reservations for tours can be made here. Self guided tours are also available of other capital features.
Sunday Dec. 7, 2 to 4 p.m.
Holiday social at the Seattle home of Cindy Shurtleff. Details will be provided closer to the date.
