Some 40 members and guests of the TCC Charter Chapter (Los Angeles/Orange County) gathered at the Mozambique Restaurant in Laguna Beach, California on March 8 for our quarterly lunch meeting.

We welcomed five new members who achieved full status along with seven guests who enjoyed the camaraderie and opportunity to share travel tales. Joining our ranks of full membership were Ryan Beyer, Barbara and Leon Shoag, Carol Sholer and Ramona Veregge.

Chapter Coordinator Michael Sholer presented an historic review which celebrated the TCC’s 70th Anniversary in a slide show highlighting our past accomplishments, present programs and future plans.

A lively inter-active conversation followed with attendees sharing personal stories and fascinating reminiscences, demonstrating how dramatically travel has changed in seven decades.
