Fellow Travelers Century Club Members!
We invite you to a program on Saturday, Nov. 1, presented by David Eickhoff on his recent visit to Rwanda, Uganda, and Burundi. He hiked to see gorillas in Uganda and saw the famous drummers in Burundi. We encourage anyone who has been to these countries or plans to go to these countries to come and learn about his experiences. We will meet at Lakewood Yacht Club at 10:30am for lunch and the program. Join us for the talk and fellowship!
Please RSVP before Oct. 25 so we can give the caterers a correct count. I will contact everyone who RSVP’d yes, so if you plan to come and I don’t contact you, please call me. We’ll be in Africa from Sept. 29 to Oct. 9, so we probably won’t reply during that time.
Also, members of our chapter have been invited to a dinner on Saturday, Dec. 13, at Lakewood as guests of the Explorers Club. Adele Luta, who designed the astronauts’ suits, will present the program. Please save the date. More information on this event later.
