Report From the October 2015 TCC Meeting in New York

[portfolio_slideshow]The guest speaker at the Oct. 24 meeting in New York was Albert Podell, according to Chapter Coordinator Lynn Simmons. She explains, “In 1965 he set a record for the longest automobile expedition ever made around the world. In 2014, 49 years later, using the United Nations list, with some additions, he completed his quest to visit every country in the world. He is author of Around the World in 50 Years.” The meeting location at John’s at 12th Street was arranged, as always, by Joe Rapaport. Lynn says the next New York meeting will be on Dec. 12, at which Beth Belkonen will give a presentation on Iran. Location to be determined.
