New York Chapter members met on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Darbar Restaurant for an Indian feast. A presentation on “African Journeys” was made by three New York members.
Gold Member (200) Nella Rannazzisi has visited 47 of the 54 TCC destinations in Africa and presented on South Sudan, São Tomé, Eritrea and Burundi. Boris Bolgonos, who has visited 48 of the 54 TTCC destinations in Africa, presented on Sierra Leone (21 visits), Gabon, Sudan and the DRC. Platinum Member (250) Joan Shiller, also provided a capsule lecture on her recent trip to Niger.
Susan Scarola received her certificate for reaching 100 TCC destinations, and there were four Diamond Members (300) in attendance: Paul Couniakis, Laurie Campbell, David Hoffman and Sherri Donovan
