Charter Chapter Members Experience ‘Adrenaline Rush’ at September Brunch in Newport Beach

TCC Treasurer Tim Skeet, our featured speaker in September, also received his 150-nation Silver Level pin from President Gloria McCoy.

Individually “connected” to a digital app allowing them to register their own reactions and experiences, 50 TCC members and guests, interacted with guest speaker Tim Skeet’s fascinating program, “What’s Your Adrenaline Rush?” at our Sept. 9 brunch. See more photos from the event below.

Viewing Tim’s active travel adventures, including snorkeling, scuba diving, zip-lining, desert sledding and an emotionally and physically draining ascent of Mt. Kilimanjaro, participating members were able to instantly record word phrases to share their own high-voltage moments as well as travel lifestyle preferences.

Presiding at Fleming’s Steakhouse in Newport Beach, California, TCC President Gloria McCoy also acknowledged TCC Treasurer Tim (and his absent wife, Lana Skeet) for their 150-nation Silver Level achievement, and Past President Pamela Barrus for her 250-destination Platinum Level accomplishment.
