The 30th edition of our TCC Eastern Canada meeting on May 26 was a busy one as we welcomed new members Tony and Rhonda Read, presented Bob Bracht with his TCC 150th pin, had great conversations about Antarctica, and everyone offered up their “ultimate bucket list destinations.”
Tony and Rhonda introduced us to their new book, Around The World: Stories From Afar But Close To A Bar. I have since read it and it was a really fun read!
Antarctica: Jane and Rick Shaver shared video, pictures and stories of penguins, whales, abandoned whaling stations, drinking vodka at a Ukrainian research stations, and polar plunges.
Member bucket list destinations included Uganda, Greenland, Tibet, Iran, South Georgia Island, Malta, and Cyprus
