Beth Belkonen gave a presentation on Yemen at the December luncheon meeting. It was one stop in her self-arranged solo trip to 12 TCC destinations in the Middle East. There were 41 in attendance at the Sapphire Indian Restaurant.
The next New York chapter meeting will be on Saturday, May 19, at noon at Brasserie Cognac. Member Margaret Schmidt will make a presentation about “Surprising Newfoundland,” including how to get there, geography, people, food and local museums. Brasserie Cognac is at 1740 Broadway, at the corner of 55th Street. Metered parking is available, and there are parking garages nearby. The cost is $35 including tax and tip.
