Dear Fellow Travelers,
In these weird times, after due consideration, we have sadly decided to cancel this year‘s TCC Spring Meeting in Prague, Czech Republic. In view of the COVID-19 crisis, the Czech Republic has decided for an extensive social lock-down in the country as well as a ban for people from several strongly affected countries. Nobody has an idea as yet on how long the crisis will last. Therefore, we will not postpone the meeting but hope for the Nuremberg meeting (Sept. 12, 2020) to take place, so we can all decide on a new date for Prague in 2021.
With regard to the meeting-room fee, we will not incur any costs for the Prague venue – it is still early enough! Of course, I am willing to transfer the money back to those who have already paid, if you drop me a short note including your banking details. Alternatively, I will keep the money under your name either for Nuremberg 2020 or any later meeting.
For now, stay healthy and try to make the best of the situation!
Kind regards from the battle grounds for pasta and toilet paper,
—Armin Schreiner, TCC Central Europe Chapter Coordinator
